InspireNOLA Charter Schools, in partnership with the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club, gave away 500 backpacks and more than 5,000 school supplies in less than an hour during its annual back-to-school giveaway Saturday.
Healthy snacks were also provided to students, thanks to donations from Rouse’s. DePaul Health Center was on hand to provide more than 100 COVID-19 vaccinations to students and their families and more than 30 students received a free haircut.
