Overview
Welcome and thank you for your interest in covering InspireNOLA High School athletics at Edna Karr, Eleanor McMain and McDonogh 35 High Schools. To protect our student-athletes, maintain a safe game environment, and ensure consistent access for approved media, InspireNOLA requires all photographers, videographers, reporters, and broadcast crews to request and wear official Athletics Media Credentials while on campus, at athletic fields and stadiums, both during practices and competitions.
Who should apply
Please request credentials if you are:
A working reporter for a print/online publication or broadcast outlet.
A freelance journalist covering the game for an accredited media organization.
A photographer/videographer shooting for editorial coverage or a licensed broadcast.
A representative of a college scouting service or recognized recruiting organization (prior approval required).
***Social media creators covering a game for commercial and non-commercial use - access is handled on a case-by-case basis. Those approved will be subject to a $100 media access fee, per school year.
NOTE: Sports agents/agencies and sports marketing agencies are not considered media and therefore will not receive approved media access.
How to apply
- Complete the online credential request form.
- You will receive a confirmation or denial via email. Approved applicants will be given further instructions and pickup location.

Deadlines & turnaround
- High-profile games or one off game requests: Contact Shandrell Briscoe at [email protected] at least 72 hours before the athletic event
- Same-day requests are rarely granted and require direct outreach to Shandrell Briscoe at [email protected]
Credential rules & media guidelines
To ensure fairness and player safety, all media must follow these rules while on InspireNOLA property and rented athletic facilities
- Credentials are non-transferable and must be visible at all times.
- Sideline access is limited to authorized areas only; sideline positions include sidelines outside of the team box, endzones, press boxes, baselines and bleachers
- No access to locker rooms, team benches during play, or private team meetings without express permission
- Flash photography, drones, and obstructive tripods are prohibited unless pre-approved.
- Respect all directions from InspireNOLA officials, game officials, coaches, and security personnel. Failure to comply may result in credential revocation and removal from campus/ game facility.
Broadcasts & live streaming
- Live broadcasts and livestreams require pre-approval
- Cable/large-truck broadcasts may require additional clearance and coordination with school facilities
Denial or revocation
InspireNOLA Charter Schools reserves the right to deny or revoke credentials at any time for safety, privacy, or policy violations. Credentialed media are expected to maintain professionalism and respect for students and school property.
