Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Principal of Ops and Culture is to foster an environment where every child reaches ambitious academic targets. In addition to serving on the school’s leadership team, the Assistant Principal assumes the leadership of all culture and operations functions on school campus. Position

Qualifications & Competencies
· Belief in the mission and values of InspireNOLA;
· Bachelor’s degree (required), Master’s degree preferred;
· Five or more years of teaching experience with proven success in improving outcomes for students;
· Three or more years of instructional leadership experience;
· Valid Louisiana teaching certificate and administrative credentials;
· Proven ability to cultivate partnerships and build consensus;
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
· Comfort defining and upholding high expectations, including delivering and receiving constructive feedback;
· Proficiency in Microsoft programs, and comfort using database programs.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

* Cultivate high-achievement academic environment
· Develop highly effective culture and operations functions for school campus
o Follow Culture handbook and Ops training
· Support all operational and logistical projects during the school year
o Start of school, transitions during school, end of school, building projects.
· Operate as a local manager for other third-party service contracts, ensuring ongoing monitoring and implementation of contracts
o Vendors
· Respond to and resolve routine internal and external inquiries with parents, employees, and school organizations
o Vendor and culture concerns
· Prepare reports on-site operations
o This will be a weekly report during meetings
o Meetings will be organized by IST
· Analyze school-wide data in all areas of culture, custodial, transportation, IT, security, and more
o Suspension rates, tardiness, detentions, ops performance, PBIS data
· Manage communication with transportation services, ensuring appropriate routes, timelines, discipline, and troubleshooting issues with school or individual riders
o Vendor management
· Coordinate logistical issues for school field trips, events, and extra-curricular activities as requested

· Communicate with parents regarding transportation concerns

· Manage and supervise all facility maintenance requests

· Support the creation of ambitious Student Learning Target (SLT) goals for staff
o Manage student behavior outcomes
o Set PBIS targets
o Motivate students to perform
Serve as an active member of the school leadership team
· Participate in regular leadership team meetings.
o Meet with leadership team weekly
o Meet with ops team and deans once a week
o Meet with IST team once a week
· Lead staff trainings at the start and end of the school year and on professional development days

· Model the InspireNOLA professional and core values at all times; be a visible and highly engaged leader in the school community

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as TRSL, our employee retirement contribution, is included.
