Position Summary
InspireNOLA Charter Schools is seeking passionate, talented, and dedicated individuals for a School Site Food Service Supervisor position. A School Site Food Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the cafeteria and the food prep area meet required standards, that Food menus meet required standards for reimbursement, and are served as described on the menu. Supervise the orderly distribution of food in the cafeteria. Ensure that all supplies and food served meet standards. We are pursuing candidates who are committed to the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of our students and who have a strong desire to continuously develop in their profession.
Position Qualifications & Competencies
• Belief in the mission and values of InspireNOLA;
• Proven experience as a Cafeteria manager, or in a similar role
• Knowledge of food prep and supervision.
• Experience in supervision of students
• Experience in setting up systems for an orderly environment.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Very good physical condition and strength
• A high school diploma is preferred but not required
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise Cafeteria personnel on duty.
• Supervise students in the cafeteria.
• Ensure trash is taken out after each lunch.
• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day.
• Supervise and arrange for the service of food in classrooms.
• Ensure that classrooms are cleaned after food is served in classrooms.
• Report on major damage to maintenance staff.
• Act as an ambassador in any setting, supporting both the school’s mission and handbooks; support students in both the context of the job and involvement in their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, bend, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Perform other additional duties as specified.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience with a range of $35,000-$45,000. InspireNOLA offers a comprehensive benefits package.
