NOLALove is InspireNOLA’s response to the violence crisis in New Orleans by physically manifesting the word ‘love’ through community outreach, engagement, and collaboration. The initiative is a large citywide call-to-action that will focus on family wellness, mental health awareness, academic excellence, and community service so that we may transform outcomes that negatively impact our youth both inside and outside the classroom.

The last two weeks have been filled with support from leaders across the city including Mayor Latoya Cantrell, District Attorney Jason Williams, and Councilmembers Oliver Thomas and Freddie King, III. As part of its comprehensive plan, NOLALove aims to bring schools, community groups, and stakeholders together over recurring events to promote non-violence, academic success, high expectations, and community involvement.
