Position Summary
Support and keep the Network’s computer network and telecommunication systems up to date and running smoothly. This includes ability to effectively work and communicate with all Network staff. Role requires constant analyzing, monitoring, recordkeeping and ability to creatively solve problems, while keeping a focus on ways to improve and provide a media rich learning environment. In addition, it is important to adhere to all required laws, as well as Network policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Installs computer equipment, network (client and server) software and hardware on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating software, hardware upgrades, etc.) for the purpose of upgrading and maintaining equipment and software.  
Administer systems and servers related to Network LAN and WAN (e.g. security, e-mail system, IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, filtering, proxies, backups, etc.) for the purpose of optimizing throughput, securing data, overseeing backup and recovery capabilities, and ensuring availability of services to authorized users.
Assess network malfunctions for the purpose of determining appropriate actions to maintain computer and network operations and recommending purchases in support of network, personnel and curriculum.
Lead the development and training of school level personnel.
Responsible for maintaining equipment replacement cycle records and acquisition of new equipment/leases in accordance with Network Procurement Policies.  Procures equipment, supplies and materials for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items and completing jobs efficiently.
Develop/maintain the user operations manuals (documentation) and create additional or supplemental documentation as necessary.
Installing and troubleshoot technological hardware and software:
Provides for safe storage and proper use of technology materials, equipment, and tools;
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, IP phones, scanners, security cameras, etc.);
Complete submitted technology requests;
Assist in maintaining and monitoring accurate inventory of technology assets;
Exemplify InspireNOLA’s core values in all interactions with students and their families to demonstrate your commitment to students’ academic and behavioral success;
Perform other related duties as assigned

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to relate readily to others. 
Willing and able to supervise and instruct others in the operation of the technology network, hardware and applications as well as the Network’s procedure
Two or more years of experience supporting the technological needs of a business or school (required);
Ability to work collaboratively with school team, families and community members;
Ability to manage Google workspace services: compete with adding, removing or modifying user accounts, Google G Suite certification preferred.
Capable of troubleshooting printer, Chromebooks, promethean boards
Capable of imaging all windows devices
Capable of managing the set up mobile devices, and more
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Position Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Formal training and experience in a user support capacity is preferred
Two or more years of extensive experience with network operating systems and applications.
Experience in a school district and/or charter management organization preferred.
